Grace Abounds

“…But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound”. Romans 5:20

We don’t have to fear that we could never be saved, that we could never be worthy, or that our life is too complicated for God to help us! God’s grace can deliver anyone! Jesus said: “If you can believe, all things are possible! to him that believes!” Mark 9:23

Home from Heaven

“For he looked for a city that has foundations, whose builder and maker is God!” Hebrews 11:10

Abraham knew that this world is not our home! The songwriter said ‘sometimes I feel like a motherless child, a long way from home!’

When we see Jesus as our Savior, we don’t have to worry about those kinds of thoughts anymore! The Bible says that Jesus has prepared for us a special city, with a mansion for every one of us!

Live by faith

“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense of reward. For you have need of patience, that after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith….” Hebrews 10:35-38

Patience is a big part of salvation. No matter what happens, if we continue to trust in the Lord- continue to believe in His love for us – we have Eternal Life!

Healing Wounds

“Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed”. Isiah 53:4-5

If we’re ever tempted to doubt God’s unwavering love for us -ever tempted to believe that He’s somehow forgotten about you- remember that He suffered and died to save you. Jesus and His love for you will never change!

God loves you!

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. John 3:16

God loved you so much that He gave His only son to die, so that you might live with Him forever! Don’t ever forget that God loves you with all His heart. No matter how hard things get – no matter how great the pain- you can find strength in remembering that God will always love you, and you will always have Him with you!

When my people pray

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

The Lord will bring healing to us and to our land. We will get past this pandemic by God’s grace and mercy. But He’s asking us to draw closer to Him. In times like these, lot’s of bad things are happening. It’s a time for us to be more sober and more prayerful. If we’ll slow down and humble our hearts before God, He will protect us and bring us through everything safe and victorious.
